CBD Oil Applications

You can choose between full-spectrum or isolate CBD oil depending on your goals with cannabidiol.

What is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants, along with tetrahydrocannabinol, and accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract” [1].  And, fortunately for consumers of CBD SKY products, there is zero THC after we use nanotechnology to remove all traces of this psychoactive compound from the end product.

How does CBD Oil Work?

The main difference between CBD capsules and CBD oil tinctures is the way you administer them.  Unlike capsules, CBD oil is dispensed via a dropper to measure out the desired amount.  Oil is absorbed via sublingual consumption or under the tongue. As such, this allows the CBD to enter the bloodstream avoiding the digestive system. And results in a faster onset and increased bioavailability.

From there, CBD interacts with your endocannabinoid system (ECS) to begin achieving your cannabidiol goals.

CBD Oil and Alleviation

One of the fundamental reasons for utilizing CBD by consumers is that our body is especially open to this compound.  This body action is known as “bioavailability”.

Why is the usage of CBD every day becoming so popular for humans and animal use? Well, scientists all over the world have discovered that CBD compounds are closely connected to the interaction between cannabidiol (CBD) and the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). By binding to certain and unique cannabinoid receptors, CBD has been shown in various studies to stimulate these receptors.  This, in turn, reportedly enhances the vast majority of the body’s functions. That is, the enhancing of the signaling and function in the central nervous system (CNS).

CBD oil requires you to use a dropper to measure out the desired amount.  Oil is absorbed via sublingual consumption or under the tongue. This allows the CBD to enter the bloodstream avoiding the digestive system. Moreover,  resulting in a faster onset and increased bioavailability.

As CBD capsules are taken orally, they pass through the digestive system before the CBD and other compounds are released into your system. Usually, people notice the first effects within 40–90 minutes after taking a capsule.  The liver releases the CBD gradually, ensuring a longer effect.

From there, CBD interacts with your endocannabinoid system (ECS) to begin achieving your cannabidiol goals.

Why Buy CBD Sky CBD?

At CBD Sky, we make sure that each batch of oil is rigorously tested in a certified laboratory before we make them available for sale.  All of our products come with certificates of analysis (COA) from independent labs confirming the potency, cannabinoid profile, and purity.

You can choose between full-spectrum and isolate-based products depending on the ingredients you want to include in your routine.

Every “body” is different, so please take a little time experimenting with doses to achieve what feels best for you.

CBD Sky CBD is available in two formulas: one containing full-spectrum CBD, and the other based on pure CBD Isolate.

Here’s what you need to know about both types of CBD:

Full-spectrum CBD: CBD Sky products labeled as “full-spectrum” are made using the whole hemp plant. As such, they contain all the naturally occurring compounds in hemp, including cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.  Full-spectrum CBD is preferred by certain individuals over isolates due to the entourage effect they create. The entourage effect is the synergy between the aforementioned compounds.

CBD Isolate: CBD Sky isolates are exactly what they sound like — single molecules which are usually available in a crystal form.  They are then powdered and can be infused into a variety of products. And the advantage of isolates is that they have no odor or flavor.  If you dislike the earthy taste of hemp, you may prefer the isolated version of the single compound of CBD.  However, since there are no other compounds other than CBD in the product, you will not be receiving the entourage effect via the ECS.

As with any product, it’s natural to wonder if CBD Sky products can cause any dangerous side effects.

Is CBD Sky Products Safe?

The short answer is yes.  CBD has a well-established safety profile.  Even doses as high as 1,500mg daily are well-tolerated in humans.

That being said, a small minority of the community can experience a few minor side effects.  These include: dry mouth, lowered blood pressure, appetite changes, fatigue, or diarrhea.

Fortunately, these side effects are very rare.

We also recommend that you consult your doctor before incorporating CBD into your routine.  CBD has a long list of potential interactions with drugs.  Similar risks apply to eating grapefruit with your medication.  That’s why a consultation with a qualified physician is important.

1. Why CBD?

Studies have pointed to CBD as a potential aid due to its interaction with the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS helps the body maintain a biological balance called homeostasis.

Homeostasis is the body’s ability to keep functions like blood pH, body temperature, blood pressure, hormone levels, and neurological activity in the state of equilibrium.

2. How Much CBD Should I Take?

The optimal amount of CBD for any individual will vary depending on their age, gender, metabolism, weight, and unique body chemistry.  So, finding your dose may take a little experimentation. We recommend starting out with smaller doses to test your body’s response to CBD and adjust the dosage accordingly.
